Putting Up Posters Around Fauteux
Getting your poster approved:
To get your poster approved, please go see one of the following two admin:
- Veronique Larose in room 115
- Drew Kuntze in room 108
They will stamp and approve your poster - this way you can go at any time and don't have to wait for the VP Academic to approve them during office hours.
Putting Posters Up:
As per Dean Feldthusen's rules, we are not allowed to put posters up on:
- Doors
- Glass
- Paint
- In Stairwells
These restrictions are a blend of fire safety policies and aesthetic policies. He does not want posters in random places as that makes the building look less professional.
However, Dean Feldthusen has kindly provided us with information on where we can put posters up. We have provided you with 3 diagrams - each one is a map of Fauteux with all of the cork boards and space available to us. Please look at these diagrams and wherever you see a picture of a pushpin, you can put your posters up on that cork board.
In addition to these spaces, we have asked Dean Feldthusen about the cork boards in the classrooms - many of the larger sized classrooms have cork spaces that are unused. Dean Feldthusen has given us permission to use the cork boards inside classrooms as well! (please use common sense and only put up one poster per event on the cork boards so that everyone will have room to promote their event!)
Here is a list of classrooms with cork space for posters (we will be adding to this list today after we do a walk around of all the classrooms in Fauteux):
- FTX 315
- FTX 316
- FTX 351
- FTX 359
- FTX 361
The CLSS is currently in talks with the Admin - we will be making little signs to put on all of the cork boards - basically, wherever you see this sign on a cork board you will know that you are able to put your posters there.
