Shaun is a second year student in the Programme de droit canadien. Shaun completed a Bachelor of Arts in French at the University of British Columbia. He subsequently worked as a substitute teacher, as a printer and at a cabane à sucre. Presently Shaun is working at the University of Ottawa Legal Clinic as a Division Leader. In his spare time, Shaun enjoys cross country running, cooking and going on road trips.

Ismaël Bolly Vice President, French

Ismaël is a second year student in theProgramme de droit canadien. A Montrealer, he studied Political Science and Philosophy at Concordia University. Ismaël is actively involved in the law faculty, serving, in addition to this role, as Vice-President, Finance in the PDCStudent’s Association and Vice-President, Communications in the Black Law Student’s Association. Ismaël enjoys travelling, swimming and fitness training. Fluently bilingual, he hopes to further encourage interaction between the French, PDC and English common law programs.

Nathaniel Brettle Vice President, English

Nathaniel is a second year student in English Common Law. He completed a Bachelor of Arts in Theatre Studies and Creative Writing at York University before going on to study a Bachelor of Science in Neuroscience at the University of Toronto. He is particularly interested in alternative dispute resolution and hopes to one day run a firm of his own. Nathaniel enjoys the rain, having breakfast for dinner and listening to passionate, hard-working people talk about the things that keep them going.

Cesare is a second year student in English Common Law. He completed a Bachelor of Arts with distinction at the University of Toronto and a Master’s in Political Science at York University. While an undergraduate Cesare was elected President of the St. Michael's College Student Union, and brings to the AÉÉCLSS a wealth of administrative experience. Cesare is an avid baseball fan, playing competitively and coaching the Vaughan Vikings Peewee baseball team in Toronto.

Michelle is a second year student in English Common Law. She completed her undergraduate degree in Economics and French at the University of Toronto and a Master’s in Economics at Queen’s University. Michelle participated actively during her previous studies, from choir to intramurals to student government. She is interested in pursuing a career in tax and international trade law, and in her spare time Michelle enjoys travelling, reality TV and spending time with friends and family.

Lucky Uppal Vice President, Social

Lucky is a second year student in English Common Law. She completed a Bachelor of Commerce at the Sauder School of Business at the University of British Columbia, specializing in Accounting and Human Resources. Prior to law school, Lucky worked for the Vancouver Olympics at the Airport as a Transportation Supervisor and also worked with a non-profit organization aimed at creating leaders for tomorrow. She has also worked with youth; encouraging their involvement in extracurricular activities and through positive community involvement. Lucky enjoys travelling, having spent last summer travelling in Europe and Africa, and in her first year participated in intramural soccer and volunteered with an Ottawa lawyer practicing immigration law.

Phil Chambers Vice President, Communications

Phil is a second year student in theProgramme de droit canadien. A Toronto native, he completed an undergraduate degree in Economics and Politics at Queen’s University and a Master of Science in European Political Economy at the London School of Economics. Latterly Phil worked in government and banking in the USA and UK, and subsequently took a gap year to undertake language studies in the Middle East prior to commencing law school. Phil speaks English, French, Spanish and Arabic, and in his spare time enjoys running, biking and attending lectures on international affairs.
